What is a portrait party?

A portrait party is an event hosted in your home where Parks-Lewis Photography will take professional portraits for you and your guests in 30 minute sessions. This is a favorite event of my clients because it’s really fun for everyone and the results are fantastic!!

How do they work?

Portrait Parties are hosted by one person (or a couple of people) who will provide the location, coordinate the guest list, schedule the sessions in 30 minute intervals and collect the fees. If you are the Host your 30 minute session is FREE!!

Each guest pays a non refundable $25 deposit that can be used towards any of our print packages.

We’re excited that you’re ready to host your very own Portrait Party with Parks-Lewis Photography. First-things-first, make out a potential guest list. We require at least 6 people to participate in the parties and a maximum of 15. Discuss dates with your guests to determine what will work best for you and your group. Think of an awesome location (your house or backyard, a beautiful and serene park, a Japanese garden, etc.). When your date is set, put together an invitation and start inviting your BFF’s. Evite and Facebook are great ways resources for creating and managing your event. Collect the initial deposit of $25 from each of your guests (checks, cash) and contact us to reserve your date. We process all credit card payments via PayPal.
